Dit resulteert in een onophoudelijke stroom van beweging. In hun streven naar samenhang worden ze uitgedaagd door het fysieke mechanisme van onderlinge afhankelijkheid, waarbij hun acrobatische lichamen een oneindige bron van inspiratie blijken te zijn. Naarmate de inzet hoger wordt, manoeuvreren ze door verschillende stadia en vormen van samenzijn, aanpassing en urgentie. Het trio Sinking Sideways, bestaande uit Xenia Bannuscher, Dries Vanwalle en Raff Pringuet, werkt op het snijvlak van circus en choreografie.

Three dance acrobats navigate a tightly woven system of shapes and forms. In the dynamic performance Cécile, they explore the abundance of possibilities within a single repetitive pattern: the infinity loop. This results in an everlasting flow of movement. In their pursuit of cohesion, they are challenged by the physical mechanisms of interdependence, with their acrobatic bodies proving to be an endless source of inspiration. As the stakes rise, they maneuver through different stages and modes of togetherness, adaptation, and urgency. The Flemish trio Sinking Sideways, consisting of Xenia Bannuscher, Dries Vanwalle, and Raff Pringuet, works at the intersection of circus and choreography.
