What’s is Brave Space?

At Brave Space, we celebrate diverse voices and ideas that may challenge the mainstream. We are committed to offering a platform for equal representation across gender, LGBTQ+, people of color, and age groups and we might add to this as we grow and new communities emerge that we feel belong here too. This is a space for acts of bravery and creative experimentation, welcoming makers who step out of their comfort zones with something new and untested. As a queer-safe environment, we invite all storytellers to offer a queer perspective and will be as inclusive and flexible with our interpretation of what queer means as safely possible. We celebrate Work that touches on the queer experience and our community is embraced and encouraged to grow with us.
