Play with your Dick

In de voorstelling spelen Dokter Dick, een hoogstaande pikexpert, en zijn voormalige assistent in alle falluszaken, Verpleger Balzak. Samen nemen ze je mee op een muzikale tour door pikstad, van ongevraagde pikfoto's naar ongetemd mannelijk schaamhaar, van perfect identieke piktweelingen tot kleine pikken die keihard zijn opgepompt tot ijzer. 

De voorstelling zit vol met kloppende verhalen over harde en zachte avonturen, lullen door de tijd heen, oorlogspikken, vredespikken, vriendjes- en vakantielul. Kom voor de grappen, verdwaal in de muziek en laat puur pikplezier over je heen spoelen!

Play with your Dick is een ironische verkenning van de penis vanuit alle mogelijke hoeken, dickpicks, maatvoorkeuren, pikjaloezie, prestatieangst, erectiestoornissen, tot muzikale piemelnummers, showers en growers, bijgeknipt of met een capuchon, welke sport lul je ook hebt, je bent hier welkom! We zien je, we voelen je en we willen alles wat we weten over piemels met je delen. Dit is een toneelstuk voor eigenaars van penissen, voor bewonderaars van penissen of iedereen die er gewoon nieuwsgierig naar is. 

Iedereen heeft in zijn collectieve geheugen het trauma van het "educatieve theater” dat populair was over de hele wereld in de jaren 80s en 90's - over onderwerpen als veilig vrijen, drinken en rijden en ziektes zoals HIV. Deze steriele en vaak slecht geacteerde toneelstukken zijn wat wij proberen te bespotten, te eren en te verbeelden. Deze werden altijd verteld door een hetronormatieve lens die een queer perspectief negeert of niet begrijpt. Dat willen we rechtzetten door de rollen om te draaien.

Dit leuke maar impactvolle stuk queertheater heeft als doel het publiek te informeren over alles wat met de penis te maken heeft. Het beantwoordt eeuwenoude vragen op een leuke, geestige, grappige en overdreven manier. Met een combinatie van demonstratie, homowetenschap, muziek, storytelling en show n'tell.

Play with your Dick, is a tongue-in-cheek exploration of the penis from all possible angles, dick pics, size preferences, dick envy, performance anxiety, Erectile Dysfunction, to musical dick numbers, showers and growers, cut or packing a hoodie, whatever style of dick you've got, you are welcome here! We see you, we feel you and we want to share everything we know about dicks with you. This is a play for owners of penises, for admirers of penises or anyone who is just plain curious about them.

Everyone has in their collective memory the trauma of “educational theatre” popular in the world over in the 80’s and 90’s about topics such as safe sex, drinking and driving and diseases such as HIV. These sterile and often badly acted plays are what we are trying to spoof, honour and reimagine. These were always told through a hetronormative lens ignoring or not understanding a queer perspective in their portrayals. We want to correct that by turning the tables. The Afternoon special justgot a whole lot more interesting.

This fun but impactful piece of queer theatre aims to enlighten its audiences on all things penis. Answering age old questions in a fun, witty, camp and over the top way. Combining demonstration, gay science, music, storytelling and show n 'tell.
